Avastor is now offering the HDX-1500 SATA Quad interface drive. This addition to the companys HDX product line provides exceptional flexibility and performance for professional audio/video workstation users.

The Avastor HDX-1500 Quad provides connectivity for USB 2.0, FireWire 400 (via supplied 800-400 cable), FireWire 800 and eSATA ports in a single unit. Featuring data transfer rates that exceed 90MB/s, the drive maximizes performance in a single disk external storage solution. In addition, the HDX-1500 Quad supports the latest in eSATAII drive technology with drive capacities from 250GB to 3TB and includes the Digidesign Pro Tools compliant Oxford 944 FireWire chipset.

Like other Avastor models, the new Avastor drive is fully speed tested and has an internal power supply and cooling fan as standard features. All drives ship in the firms trademark Lockbox, a lockable foam-lined case.
