The Verbatim PowerBay Single Drive solution allows professionals a flexible way to backup and secure data from a PC or server. The removable cartridge exchange system allows users to make multiple backup sets at various times (for example, weekly backups). The rugged cartridges can be safely transported and stored off-line at a secure location. Supporting up to 2TB of storage, the PowerBay single drive can be used as a higher performance and reliable alternative to tape drive backup systems. The PowerBay single drive supports eSATA for high speed transfer and USB for wider compatibility. The eSATA port is particularly suitable for high speed mirroring of a PowerBay NAS system.
