The MiniPro USB 3.0 + eSATA 6Gb/s bus-powered portable hard drive incorporates a high-performance Solid State Drive (SSD) built with the latest SandForce controller for optimum performance and reliability. The rugged aluminum housing provides protection due to impact and drops, while acting as a heatsink for passive, silent cooling. No moving parts inside the SSD allows for ultra-silent operation excellent for quiet environments. With an impressive combination of eSATA 6Gb/s and USB 3.0, the MiniPro provides the fastest available data transfer rates with speeds over 250 MB/s.

The drive is compatible with all eSATA, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, and is powered by the computer's USB port. A power adapter is also included for those who prefer to power from an AC adapter. This model is also capable of powering from an eSATAp port using a single cable connection (requires eSATA + DC power cable at Amazon item B00461595U).
